Before travelling for Hajj or Umrah, it is important to ensure you are medically fit and meet all the health requirements for pilgrimage. Our GP will conduct a comprehensive medical screening and provide the necessary certification for your visa application and travel.
What to Expect at your Hajj and Umrah Medical Screening
During your appointment, you can expect:
- A general health assessment and review of your medical history.
- Physical examination to check your overall fitness for travel.
- Vaccination review to confirm you have received the required vaccines (e.g. Meningitis ACWY and others, if applicable).
- Travel health advice, including guidance on managing chronic conditions, staying hydrated, and preventing heat-related illness.
- Issuance of a medical certificate confirming you are fit to travel, if appropriate.
What to Bring
- Please bring the following items to your appointment:
- Passport or photographic ID for verification.
- Vaccination records or certificates.
- List of current medications and any relevant medical documents.
- Completed forms, if provided by your travel agent or embassy.
