What to Expect at your Hajj and Umrah Medical Screening

During your appointment, you can expect:

  • A general health assessment and review of your medical history.
  • Physical examination to check your overall fitness for travel.
  • Vaccination review to confirm you have received the required vaccines (e.g. Meningitis ACWY and others, if applicable).
  • Travel health advice, including guidance on managing chronic conditions, staying hydrated, and preventing heat-related illness.
  • Issuance of a medical certificate confirming you are fit to travel, if appropriate.

What to Bring

  • Please bring the following items to your appointment:
  • Passport or photographic ID for verification.
  • Vaccination records or certificates.
  • List of current medications and any relevant medical documents.
  • Completed forms, if provided by your travel agent or embassy.
