Cheeks, jowls & jawline

Mid-face and jawline filler

Lift and definition that looks like a well-rested version of you.

As we age, the face loses volume in the cheeks and the jawline softens, which can lead to jowls and deeper smile lines. Filler placed in the right areas can restore support, lift the lower face and sharpen the jawline.

The GP assesses the whole face at your consultation. Many cheek and jawline treatments need more than 1ml; you will be told the amount and the full price before anything is done.

Your safety

Why GP-led aesthetics matters

The UK aesthetics industry is largely unregulated. Anyone can legally inject anti-wrinkle treatments or fillers without medical training. At OUR GP, your treatment is prescribed and administered by a GMC-registered doctor — and that makes a significant difference.

The difference between GP-led aesthetics and a non-medical practitioner isn’t just about qualifications — it’s about what happens when something goes wrong, whether you are suitable for a treatment, and whether you’re being given honest advice or just what you want to hear. Our GP will decline to treat if a treatment is not right for you. That’s not a limitation — it’s the point.

Prescription safety

Anti-wrinkle injections use a prescription-only medicine. Our GP prescribes it after a proper medical consultation — assessing your health, medications, and suitability before any needle is used.

Honest clinical assessment

We will tell you honestly if we think a treatment isn’t right for you, or if a different approach would give a better result. That’s a medical obligation — not a sales conversation.

Complication management

Rare complications do occur. Our GP can recognise and manage vascular occlusion, infection, and other serious adverse events — something many non-medical practitioners cannot.

Regulated & insured

Our GP holds a GMC licence to practise, carries full medical indemnity insurance, and is regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland. You have full recourse if anything goes wrong.

GP-led means medically safe

All aesthetic treatments at OUR GP are performed by our GP — not a beautician or therapy-trained practitioner. A medical consultation is always included, and we will be honest if a treatment is not right for you. Your safety and long-term wellbeing come first.

Honest answers before you book. If your question isn’t here, contact us and the GP will be happy to help.

It depends on your face and goals. Some people need 1ml; jawline and full mid-face treatments often need 2ml or more. Your GP will tell you before treatment.

The aim is to look fresher and more defined, not changed. We favour natural, gradual results.

Usually 12–18 months in the cheeks and jawline.

Your result is checked two weeks after a new treatment, once swelling has settled. If a small adjustment is needed, we discuss it then. The review is included in the new-patient price.

No. The consultation is a medical assessment, not a sales appointment. You can take time to think, and the GP will tell you honestly if a treatment is not right for you.
